Changes affecting users from the Republic of Kazakhstan

Pursuant to a notice dispatched from the “Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations And Aerospace Industry Of The Republice Of Kazakhstan Respublican State Institution «Committee For Artificial Intelligence And Innovation Development»” to all digital asset platforms currently offering services to individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 22 October 2024, all recipients of the notice are requested to suspend certain services to individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (“Kazakhstan Users”) within 30 calendar days, unless they are licensed under the territory of the Astana International Financial Centre.

To ensure full compliance with the said notice, starting from November 22, 2024, DigiFinex is required to make the following changes with respect to accounts associated with Kazakhstan Users.

Limited Account Activity
Kazakhstan Users will only be able to execute liquidating trades in their accounts. This means they can close existing positions in the digital assets they currently hold, but will not be able to open new ones.

Transferring Functions Remain Unaffected
Transfer of assets to Kazakhstan Users’ designated private wallet remains fully functional.

Alternative Options for Trading
Should Kazakhstan Users wish to transfer assets from their account to another platform, we will facilitate the transaction without delay, subject to standard AML protocols.

Assets Remain Accessible
Kazakhstan Users can continue to access your account to view their holdings and withdraw funds at any time.
